ADMISSION A short film by Saïda Fakher · A RiverRock Films production She lets them lock her in, he’s the one who won’t get out. LOGLINE After years of building a case against her abuser, a woman with dissociative identity disorder is coerced by the FBI into an undercover sting, infiltrating his clinic to turn her trauma response into a lethal psychological trap. She knows exactly who he is. He has no idea who she is. SYNOPSIS I · THE OPERATION Ava spent years building a comprehensive case against Dr. Logan Lesnar, the psychiatrist who abused her as a child and murdered her mother, and brought the files directly to the FBI. Her plan was never to step foot in his room again, but the authorities inform her it is not enough for an admissible conviction; they need his signature phrase recorded live on a wire. Following fierce pushback against facing her abuser, and eight months of grueling training, Ava commits to the undercover mission to put him away. II · THE SESSION Seated across from him in the clinical cold, Ava maintains absolute psychological control while Lesnar remains entirely unaware of who she is. As he probes for his own gratification, the tension escalates. Veronica, the system’s controlling manager, holds the clinical boundary, while Beth erupts into raw, unyielding confrontation. The oppressive claustrophobia of the room tightens, pushed to the edge by the gleaming gold watch on Lesnar’s wrist that bridges two haunting eras. III · THE ADMISSION Drunk on institutional power and believing he holds total dominance, Lesnar lets his clinical mask slip as he locks the door and leans in. The wire needs one sentence from him. Her mind against his ego. Every word is being heard. Story by Saïda Fakher · Screenplay by Margretta Hutcheon · Directed by Saïda Fakher Press: Saida@riverrockfilms.com Instagram: @admission.film
